The Take That star said that the current chart to track annual charity operation by recruiting a "credible makeover".

Tinchy Stryder, Chipmunk and Wretch 32, who's at number one in the singles chart with Don't Go, all appear on a cover of Massive Attack's Teardrop.

Before the live BBC TV broadcast will be released on November 18 Gary Barlow said this year's range of small grime acts wanted to attract.

The original version of tears and music samples have been developed by, among others, 32 is a bitch.

Tulisa, a member of N-Dubz, told Radio 1 DJ Fearne Cotton it was fun to work with artists she already knows.

She said: "[It's] good to be back with the grime crew, the urban family.

"The track itself is really different but current and I think it's going to work."

Producer and singer Labrinth, who was behind Tinie Tempah's Brit award-winning single Pass Out, has worked on the track.

Labrinth said: "It's not a your usual cheesy or comical Children In Need record. It's a bit more meaningful.

"Gary wanted it to be more urban, which is why he came to me, and I've worked with most of the artists.

"He wanted it to be an honest record and come from somewhere else.

"People are saying it's the coolest Children In Need record ever. That sounds kind of nice."
